So, after a lot of debating, Barry and I have decided it’s time to devote our time to ScreenGeeks again.  This is really our passion, so we’ve decided it’s time to move on from the Hypecast and get back to doing our own thing.

I’m sure one question is, “Who will be coming back?”  Well, we’re still working on that part.  We’re adding at least one new person for some retro dvd reviews, and you can count on most of the previous regulars to come back.  I’m trying to get in touch with everyone to gague people’s interest in starting again.

Our first episode back will be posting a week from Monday and I’m working on lining up a VERY exciting guest and we’re planning on getting things started again with a bang.  In the meantime, expect some cool video clips and some op-ed pieces.  We hope you’ll join us for the ride.

You’ll notice that I’ve taken the name of Game Crazy Radio down because we are officially at our new home.  We’re still working on getting the plumbing working right (the iTunes rss feed), but we’re home.

So, what does that mean for ScreenGeeks?  Ya know, that show that went for about five episodes then vanished into obscurity.  Well, nothing is close to being official, but I’m working on getting the gang back together and see what we can put together.  You may see some old faces not come back and some new ones get added, but hopefully it’ll be a good time.  We’ll be at least putting up DVD reviews again shortly.

Look for updated news to come over the next few weeks.

Ok, thanks to our awesome provider 1and1, I started the wheels on getting the domain to gamecrazyradio.com on Friday and I was building the site on Sunday afternoon. 

Here we are on Monday and Game Crazy Radio is now fully functional!  I just finished editing this week’s show and it will be live this evening.  We’re also discussing the recent Sony price drop, so stop by and let us know what you think!

If you check the link for our first episode, you’ll find that we’ve added a pretty sweet flash player that doesn’t require you to download the whole file.

If you see some of the video files disappear from the main page, I haven’t taken them down. I’ve just moved them after a break so it doesn’t take forever and a day to load the page.

I apologize for the lack of news this week.  Some of us have experienced a death on our team at our other jobs, and updates have just fallen to the side.

Ok, so ScreenGeeks is MOSTLY dead for the time being until we have time to raise it from the ashes. In the meantime, Mo, Dave and Mike are working on creating a Game Crazy podcast, and this is the location of that experiment.

Yes, there is already a Game Crazy podcast, but it hasn’t been active for at least six months and we feel we can bring life to the project. This is our pilot program. We’ll be recording our first episode on Saturday and the show will be out by Tuesday, so keep an eye out. We hope to have a good time, give away some cool stuff or fail miserably. It will be up to you which we accomplish.
