75 Lost Hollywood Films Have Been Found

A vault in New Zealand is being called a time capsule of Hollywood. This vault contains 75 movies, including Upstream by John Ford, that were thought to be lost to the ages. The collection includes films from 1898 through 1929. The best part is that 70% of the nitrate prints are complete and a majority of them have color tinting. Hollywood silent films were distributed worldwide and hundreds more could still be in archives across the globe.

We will find those one day, but for now we have 75 more films to dissect.
