Podcast Is A Go!

Posted in Episodes by Dave on the March 31st, 2007

Just a quick update that the episode was recorded today, and while a little rusty, it was good overall.  And hey, we have a prize to give away!  Listen on Tuesday/Wednesday for details.

Guitar Hero 2 Mjolnir Mix

Posted in Uncategorized by Dave on the March 30th, 2007

Courtesy of an article over at XBox 360 Fanboy, here’s a homemade video of someone playing the Halo 2 theme Mjolnir mix by Steve Vai on Guitar Hero 2.  This video just gets me more than psyched for the 360 version even more.  Hit the jump to view the goodness.

Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer

Posted in Game News by Dave on the March 30th, 2007

While I’m not the biggest fan in the world of GTA, the environmental graphics for the trailer look pretty sweet.  Check it out.  The trailer is hosted at GameVideos.com and the HD version of the trailer is available here:

IGN’s Editors had a quick roundtable with initial reactions to the trailer that are an interesting read.

The trailer is featured after the jump.

Global Gears of War Tournament

Posted in Game News by Dave on the March 30th, 2007

The good Boots shot me an e-mail this morning announcing a Global Gear of War Tournament over XBox Live with 11 grand prizes being a trip for two to Prague to compete in the Gears of War World Finals.

Second prize is nothing to sneeze at, either.  The top 12-25 players will recieve an XBox 360 pro console, Viva Pinata, PGR 3, XBL Unplugged Volume 1, Kameo, a year of XBox Live, and Gears of War faceplates and statues.

I’m Not Dead Yet…

Posted in Uncategorized by admin on the March 29th, 2007

Ok, so ScreenGeeks is MOSTLY dead for the time being until we have time to raise it from the ashes. In the meantime, Mo, Dave and Mike are working on creating a Game Crazy podcast, and this is the location of that experiment.

Yes, there is already a Game Crazy podcast, but it hasn’t been active for at least six months and we feel we can bring life to the project. This is our pilot program. We’ll be recording our first episode on Saturday and the show will be out by Tuesday, so keep an eye out. We hope to have a good time, give away some cool stuff or fail miserably. It will be up to you which we accomplish.
