As reported in Variety, Lucasfilm has officially made it known that the teaser trailer for “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” will play in front of “The Spiderwick Chronicles”, opening February 14th. ntalizing glances but not see anything concrete, as has been the less-is-more pattern of every trailer for every movie he has made, from “Jaws”, to “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, to “Jurassic Park” and “War of the Worlds”; Spielberg has consistantly released gripping but mysterious trailer and poster campaigns that keep major plot twists and eye popping visual effects a secret until the film is in theaters (unlike the let's-compress-the-entire-movie-into-two-minutes approach that nearly every studio takes). The film stars Harrison Ford, Shia LeBouf, Cate Blanchett, Ray Winstone, Karen Aleen and John Hurt and opens everywhere May 22nd.
