Paul What Script Anderson To Ruin The Three Muskateers In 3D
Paul W. S. Anderson has written a script AND is set to direct a new take on The Three Muskateers according to Heatwave. This is to be an updated film with the feel of a period piece. In the words of the auteur himself:
“We are definitely modernizing The Three Musketeers without compromising the fun of shooting a period piece,” said Anderson, who hopes to shoot in France and Germany. “But in our film, corsets and feathered hats don’t take center stage. Our version is rich in eye-popping action, romance and adventure.”
Confession time… I have enjoyed a few of his flicks. The style Anderson uses is more of the “Hey see how cool this looks!!!” without really wanting or needing to make any sense. Which means that while this version could be better than 2001’s The Muskateer there is no chance it can outdo Disney’s 1993 version.
The good adaptations of this story usually have a good chemistry between actors portraying the Muskateers, well thought out action sequences and a rousing sense of adventure.
Anderson’s version will have 3D.
